Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at https://ulctrust.org and the member services operated by Universal Law Community Trust (ULCT) (“ULCT”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have authority to agree to these Terms.
2. Nature of the Trust
ULCT is a private trust operating under Universal Law. Educational content on the site explains the Trust’s position on lawful versus legal distinctions, secured-party standing, Assignment of Consent (AOC) and Kindness Credits. Nothing on this site constitutes legal, financial, tax or medical advice. Always seek appropriate professional advice for your circumstances.
3. Membership tiers
- Visitor / Legal Fiction — anyone may read public pages, view sample ID and KC card previews, and submit applications.
- Minister EMOVEN (approved member) — issued only after a completed AOC, activation contribution, and admin approval. Approved members receive a real ULCT ME WD card, a real Kindness Credits card and access to member-only features.
Until admin approval is granted, account holders see sample-only previews of the ID and KC cards. Approval is at the Trust’s discretion.
4. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at admin@ulctrust.org if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Use the Service to harass, threaten or harm any person.
- Attempt to bypass admin approval, rate limits, RBAC, or any security controls.
- Scrape, copy or republish member-only or private data.
- Upload malware or unlawful content.
- Use automated tools to enumerate IDs, accounts or member data.
6. Contributions and Kindness Credits
- All monetary contributions are voluntary and processed through Razorpay. Razorpay’s terms apply to the payment transaction.
- Kindness Credits (KC) are internal trust credit recognising community contribution. They are not legal tender, not a security, not redeemable for fiat, and not transferable outside the Trust framework.
- Top-ups are credited to your KC wallet after the Razorpay webhook confirms the payment; the issuance of a real KC card additionally requires admin approval.
- We may reverse or hold credits if a payment is disputed, charged back or determined to be fraudulent.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (applications, posts, evidence, comments). You grant ULCT a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, moderate, publish (where the surface is public) and process that content as needed to operate the Service. You confirm you have the right to grant this licence.
8. Intellectual property
All ULCT logos, text, designs, the Kindness Credits card template, ID card template and documents on the site are the intellectual property of the Trust unless otherwise marked. You may share links to public pages; reproduction of full pages requires written permission.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms or to protect the Trust or other members. You may close your account any time by emailing admin@ulctrust.org. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) survive.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ULCT disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific approval, remedy or outcome will result from using it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ULCT, its ministers, staff and subprocessors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible loss arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you contributed to the Trust in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold ULCT harmless from any claim, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Dispute resolution
Before commencing any formal action, you agree to first contact the Ministry of Remedies at admin@ulctrust.org to seek a peaceful, lawful resolution. Unresolved disputes will be addressed under the governing principles below.
14. Governing principles
These Terms are administered under Universal Law as recognised by the Trust. Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory right you have under the law of your place of residence that cannot lawfully be waived.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site and, where appropriate, by email. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
